As far as is able, the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers' Hall has made every reasonable step to comply with the DDA by:

•  installing a wider lift to meet the minimum size standards for most wheel chairs and a care person

•  ensuring that the lift is fitted with braille buttons for the visually impaired.

•  having available, specially manufactured ramps for our steps to improve ease of access for those who are in wheel chairs or have difficulty with the steps.

•  providing direct ‘drop off' access to the Hall to approved vehicles carrying the disabled or those with walking difficulties.

•  providing toilet facilities for the disabled on both levels.

•  providing a loop system for the hard of hearing (Banqueting Hall only).

Additionally, the Hall is able to provide a brochure of its facilities in braille.

The Hall is further able to provide a wheelchair.

Should any of our clients that are registered disabled require any assistance at all, they should first contact the Hall Manager by phone, fax or email (see contacts).
